Privacy policy
Last updated: 31 July 2026
Theophilus Publications is a publishing imprint of The Legitness Company. This policy explains what we collect on this website, why, and what happens to it.
What we collect
Email signup
If you sign up for our mailing list, we collect the email address you provide. We use it to send news about new releases and the companion tools for our books. Every email includes an unsubscribe link, and unsubscribing removes you from the list.
Bulk and church order requests
If you submit the bulk or church order form, we collect your name, your church or organization, your email address, the title and quantity you're asking about, your timeline, and any notes you add. A phone number is optional. We use this only to prepare and send you a quote and to correspond with you about that request.
Reader tools
Our companion reader tools ask for your email address before showing your results. That address is added to the same mailing list described above, tagged with which tool you used so we can send relevant follow-ups. The same unsubscribe applies.
Your answers are worked out in your own browser to produce the results you see. When you enter your email, a summary of those results is sent along with it, but we do not keep it — only your email address and which tool it came from are stored. Your answers are never published or sold.
Information we do not collect
We do not sell books directly on this site. There is no cart, no checkout, and no payment processing here, so we never collect card or payment details. We do not ask for or store passwords, because the site has no accounts.
Who processes this data
Forms on this site are submitted to our own server, which passes the information on to the services below. Your information is processed by those providers under their own privacy policies:
- Brevo — email list management, delivery, and the notification we receive when you submit a bulk or church order request.
- Plausible Analytics — website analytics.
We do not sell, rent, or trade your personal information to anyone.
Analytics and cookies
We use Plausible Analytics to understand which pages are visited and how people
find the site, for theophiluspublications.com and every page on it. Plausible
is privacy-focused: it does not use cookies, does not collect personal
information, and does not track you across other websites. Because of this, the
site does not show a cookie consent banner — there are no tracking cookies to
consent to.
Links to other sites
Our book pages link out to retailers, primarily Amazon. Theophilus Publications participates in the Amazon Services LLC Associates Program, an affiliate advertising program. This means that when you follow one of our Amazon links and make a purchase, we may earn a commission at no additional cost to you. Once you follow a link away from this site, the destination's own privacy policy and terms apply — we have no control over what they collect.
Your choices
- You can unsubscribe from our emails at any time using the link in any email.
- You can ask us what personal information we hold about you, ask us to correct it, or ask us to delete it.
For any of these, email hello@theopub.com.
Children
This site is intended for a general adult audience. We do not knowingly collect personal information from children.
Changes to this policy
If we change how we handle your information, we'll update this page and change the date at the top.
